choroid plexus
1) A villous structure of tangled masses of blood vessels contained within the third, lateral, and fourth ventricles of the BRAIN. It regulates part of the production and composition of cerebrospinal fluid.
2) A highly vascular portion of the pia mater that projects into the ventricles of the brain and is thought to secrete the cerebrospinal fluid.
