Gnomes are small humanoids, they stood on average between 3'0"–3'6" (0.9–1.1 meters) and weighed between 40–45 lbs (18–20 kg), known for their eccentric sense of humor, inquisitiveness, and engineering prowess. They had pointed ears and high cheekbones, as well as long beards and messy hair. They had a long lifespan, going up to five hundred years. Gnomes were an intelligent and innately curious race and had a strong affinity for all things magical and while they lacked in ambition and drive, most gnomes were content to live simple lives, acquiring knowledge merely as a hobby, their creativity gave them a strong ability for ingenuity.
